First played organized hockey at the age of eleven. A very good skater and a nifty stickhandler. Heavy shot.
Only Bjørn Skaare could match him skating-wise in Norway.
Norwegian league champion on four occasions. Represented Norway 88 times. Scored more than 600 points in little over 400 games.
Retired in 1997. Became an ice hockey coach. Worked with addicts as a councelor. Also worked as an environmental worker.

Débute le hockey en club à onze ans. Excellent patineur à la fine technique de crosse et au lancer puissant.
Seul Bjørn Skaare pouvait rivaliser avec lui en patinage à son époque en Norvège.
Quatre fois champion de Norvège, 88 sélections internationales avec son pays, plus de 600 points en environ 400 matches.
Devenu, après sa retraite en 1997, un entraîneur de hockey qui, dans sa vie "civile", s'occupait de l'accompagnement de toxicomanes. A aussi été agent dans la protection de l'environnement.
