Winger who played many years for Brandenburg Berlin. He was a good team player.
Didn’t stand out in any area, but was solid in all aspects of the game.
In 1974 he visited his old teammate Erich Römer to celebrate his 80th birthday.
Some of the other old teammates that gathered included Jaenecke, Strobl and Leinweber.
Was an official LIHG referee. Inducted into the German Hockey Hall of Fame.

Ailier qui a joué de nombreuses années pour le Brandenburg Berlin. Bon joueur d'équipe.
Il n'avait pas de point fort, mais était solide dans tous aspects du jeu.
En 1974 il a rendu visite à son ancien coéquipier Erich Römer pour célébrer son 80e anniversaire.
