Lennart Johansson

Johansson, Lennart Rolf "Tigern"

Position : C

07-06-1941 Sundsvall, SWE
23-10-2010 Gävle, SWE

Earned his nickname "Tigern" (Tiger) for his fearless play, especially along the boards. Defensively strong although he struggled with his skating. A straight shooter who always said what was on his mind, which of course held him back from the national team.
Good leadership skills both on and off the ice. Represented Sweden 39 times. Won seven league titles with Brynäs IF. Retired during the 1971/72 season.
He was an electrician by trade.
