Drafted in the NHL by Toronto Maple Leafs in 1984. Speedy skater but small physically (174 cm). He certainly had the skills but his size worked against him and kept him out of the NHL.
Played two full seasons for Team Canada (1985/86 and 1986/87) before turning pro.
Signed for Chur in Swiss NLA just after winning the silver medal in Albertville Olympic games.
In February 1993 he broke his leg while playing the Sweden Hockey Games with Team Canada, which ended his stint with Chur.
Came back full-time with Team Canada as team captain. He kept a good atmosphere in his teams with his jokes.
Retired in 1996 and went on to coach in hockey.

Bien que drafté par Toronto en 1984, il n'ira jamais en NHL malgré tout son talent et sa vitesse de patinage, parce que ses 174 centimètres ne suffisaient pas.
Il a joué deux saisons pleines pour le Team Canada (1985/86 et 1986/87) avant de passer pro.
Il a signé pour Coire en LNA suisse juste après avoir remporté la médaille d'argent aux Jeux olympiques d'Albertville.
En février 1993 il se casse la jambe aux Sweden Hockey Games sous le maillot du Canada, ce qui met fin à sa saison à Coire.
Il revient à plein temps pour le Canada la saison suivante. Capitaine, il savait participer à la bonne ambiance par ses plaisanteries.
À sa retraite en 1996, devenu entraîneur de jeunes au Canada.
