Technical and creative player who had good stamina and could play a lot of minutes.
Before WW II he played his ice hockey in Pogon Lwów (1936-39). He then continued to play in Lwów for Spartak Lwów (1940-41). After the war he went to Wisła Kraków (1946-47). In Wisła he formed a dangerous line with Mieczyslaw Palus and Tomasz Jasiński. He finished his playing career with Polonia Bytom (1948-52). Represented Poland 17 times (6 goals). After his playing career he coached until the late 1960s.
Retired from work in 1981 and continued living in Bytom where he passed away.

Cet attaquant technique combinait créativité et endurance, ce qui lui permettait d'affoler les compteurs en prenant beaucoup de shifts.
Né dans l'Ukraine polonaise avant le démantèlement de la Pologne, il commence le hockey au Pogon Lwów (1936-39) puis poursuit au Spartak Lwów (1940-41). Après la Seconde Guerre mondiale, il est enrôlé par le Wisła Cracovie (1946-47) où il s'entend à merveille avec ses partenaires de ligne Mieczyslaw Palus et Tomasz Jasiński.
Finit sa carrière au Polonia Bytom entre 1948 et 1952. Dix-sept fois international polonais (six buts), il occupera des fonctions d'entraîneur jusqu'à la fin des années 1960.
Retraité en 1981, il achève son existence à Bytom. Décédé à 86 ans.
