Fast and technical player but not physical. Was a playing coach for the German second league club ERC Mannheim in 1953/54 and led the team to a promotion.
He scored the first goal of the Olympic hockey tournament in Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1986.
Buried at the Wiener Zentralfriedhof.

Joueur très rapide et technique mais peu physique. Il a mené en tant qu'entraîneur-joueur le Mannheimer ERC à la montée en Bundesliga à la fin de la saison 1953-1954.
Il a marqué le tout premier but du tournoi olympique 1956 à Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Décédé à 86 ans. Enterré au Wiener Zentralfriedhof (Cimetière central de Vienne).
