Small defenseman who represented Finland 92 times, scoring 16 points (6+10). Scored more than 400 career points in close to 1000 career games. Retired in 2004, but made a one game comeback during the 2010/2011 season in the French fourth division. Went on to coach in Italy, France and Finland.

Défenseur au gabarit modeste (1,75m, 79kg) qui comptera 92 sélections en équipe nationale, pour 16 points (6+10). Aura en tout disputé un millier de matches et pointé 400 fois. Parti finir sa carrière en France (champion 1996 avec Brest), en Suède et au Danemark. Devenu entraîneur en Italie, en Finlande et en France après sa retraite officielle en 2004. Officielle car il fit deux petits retours au jeu le temps d'un match en 2011 (pour la réserve de Brest) et même en 2017-2018, à 57 ans !
