Son of Maksymilian Langner and Cecylia Cichy.
Played his club hockey for Start (1957-60) and Baildon Katowice (1961-62, 1976-82).
Also spent one year with Legia Warszawa (1963-64), winning the Polish league title.
Represented Poland 25 times (1 goal). Retired in 1982.
He graduated from vocational school as a car mechanic.
His son Olgierd (b.1973) also played hockey in the Polish league.

Il fut également joueur du Legia Varsovie une saison (1963-64), y remportant le titre de champion de Pologne.
International polonais 25 fois (1 but). Retraité en 1982.
Il était diplômé d'un lycée professionnel en mécanique automobile.
Son fils Olgierd (né en 1973) joua également au hockey dans le championnat polonais.
