Grew up with is two sisters in Lancovo, a village of 500 inhabitants near Jesenice.
Left his hometown at 16 towards Sweden and went to an American university at 19.

Il a grandi avec ses deux sœurs à Lancovo, village de 500 habitants le long de la Save à 20 km en aval de Jesenice.
Il en est parti à 16 ans, d'abord pour trois années juniors en Suède, puis pour une université américaine.
