Primarily a checking forward and very good at killing penalties. Fine skater.
Pretty scrappy and tough and an in-your-face type of player. Had good anticipation skills.
Often took key faceoffs. Played well in all three zones. Always in top physical shape.
Retired in 2004, but made a brief comeback in Switzerland 2006/07 and also played one season of senior hockey in Trois-Rivières 2007/08.
Went on to coach young players.

Principalement un attaquant défensif, très bon en infériorité numérique. Patineur efficace.
Un peu décousu et rugueux, le style de joueur à aller au contact. De bonnes aptitudes dans l'anticipation.
Souvent employé pour les mises au jeu importantes. Bon dans les trois zones. Toujours en excellente condition physique.
Retraité en 2004, il fit un retour en Suisse en 2006/07 et joua également une saison en hockey sénior pour Trois-Rivières la même année.
Devint entraîneur chez les jeunes.
305 points (127+178) en 879 parties de saison régulière de NHL.
