Born and raised in Montreal, QC.
Noted as a tough player who played on the edge. Slow skater.
During the 1948 pre-Olympic tour his teammates thought he played "too rough".
Played his junior hockey in Ottawa.
There he also joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1935, serving as a photographer in the Public Relations Office and eventually reaching the rank of Flight Lieutenant.
Played for the RCAF Flyers and suited up intermittently with them during the war years.
Retired in the late 1940s, after having spent the majority of his career in Ottawa.
Aside from being a right wing he could also play on defense.
Served as a referee in the 1950s with the OHA. Refereed at the 1953 Memorial Cup and at the 1956 Winter Olympics.
In 1963, he began working for the Canadian external affairs department as an aerial photographer and was stationed in Nairobi, Kenya when he died at the age of 55.

Il est né et a grandi à Montréal, au Québec.
Considéré comme un joueur rugueux. Patineur lent.
Durant la préparation pour les Jeux de 1948, ses coéquipiers pensaient qu'il jouait "trop dur".
Il a joué son hockey junior à Ottawa.
Il y rejoint l'Aviation royale canadienne en 1935, où il était photographe pour le bureau des relations publiques et obtint le grade de Lieutenant de vol.
Il joua pour les RCAF Flyers et y fit des apparitions par intermittence pendant la guerre.
Retraité à la fin des années 1940, après avoir passé la majorité de sa carrière à Ottawa.
En plus de l'aile droite, il pouvait également jouer en défense.
Arbitre dans l'OHA durant les années 1950. Il officia notamment lors de la Coupe Memorial 1953 et des Jeux olympiques 1956.
En 1963, il commença à travailler pour le département canadien des affaires étrangères comme photographe aérien et était établi à Nairobi (Kenya) où il décéda à 55 ans.
