Older brother of Heini and younger brother of Karl Lohrer.
Grew up a stone throw from the local ice skating rink in Arosa where he played with his brothers.
He was only 16 years old when he first played for the Arosa team.
Was a forward but moved to defense in 1942.
Served as a player-coach in 1944/45 and later captained the team.
Won the Swiss league title three years in a row with Arosa.
Was a master at the art of pokechecking the puck away from his opponents.
Buried at the Bergkirchli cemetery in Arosa.

Frère aîné d'Heini et frère cadet de Karl Lohrer.
Il a grandi à quelques mètres de la patinoire d'Arosa où il jouait avec ses frères.
Il avait seulement 16 ans quand il joua son premier match avec l'équipe d'Arosa.
Il était attaquant mais passa en défense en 1942.
Il était assistant coach en 1944/45 et plus tard fut capitaine de l'équipe.
Il remporta le championnat suisse trois fois d'affilée avec Arosa.
Il était maître dans l'art du poke-check pour enlever le palet à ses adversaires.
Enterré au cimetière Bergkirchli d'Arosa.
