Saw the ice well and had a good understanding of the game. Only an average skater.
Was a competitive sailor as a junior, winning the Swedish junior championships in 1973 and 1975, also finished in 11th place at the world championships 1975.
Drafted in the WHA 1977 and NHL 1977 & 78. There was some interest in getting him over, however nothing materialized from it, and he stayed in Sweden.
235 points (105+130) in 486 Swedish elite games, all with Färjestad BK. Three-time champion (1981, 1986 et 1988).
He finished his career as Sparta Sarpsborg player-coach in 1989 and became Norwegian champion.
Became a successful ice hockey coach for many years. Champion and coach of the year in 2007 with Modo.

Une bonne vision et compréhension du jeu. Patineur un peu limite en revanche.
Jeune, il faisait de la voile en compétition, champion de Suède junior en 1973 et 1975, et 11e des championnats du monde 1975.
Au hockey sur glace, il remporta trois championnats de Suède (1981, 1986 et 1988).
Il joua la majeure partie de sa carrière à Färjestad BK, mais la termina en Norvège en 1989.
Drafté en WHA (1977) et en NHL (1977 et 78). Il y avait un vrai intérêt à le faire venir mais cela ne se matérialisa pas et il resta en Suède.
235 points (105+130) en 486 parties d'élite suédoise, toutes avec Färjestad.
Il termina sa carrière comme entraîneur-joueur du Sparta Sarpsborg en 1989 et devint champion de Norvège.
Il lança ainsi une longue carrière d'entraîneur à succès. Champion et entraîneur de l'année en 2007 avec Modo.
