Of Polish ancestry as his father had immigrated from Poland at the age of five.
Didn’t start skating until he was in third grade. Highly touted as a junior.
Was a very versatile player who could play on all three positions, although he was mainly a center.
Good skater and a fine playmaker. Consistent player.
Had very good puck control. Had decent size and stamina to play a physical brand of hockey.
Developed into a decent penalty killer. Retired 1986.
Worked in the landscaping, real estate and construction industries in the Atlanta area.
His daughter, Jessica Lee ("Jessie"), married NHL’er Justin Braun.
She also finished in the top 3 on Season 4 of the US version of cooking TV show MasterChef.
Passed away after a three year battle with leukemia.

Son père était d'origine polonaise et avait immigré au Canada à cinq ans.
Tom ne commença à patiner qu'à ses 8-9 ans. Il devint néanmoins très coté en junior.
Joueur polyvalent qui pouvait jouer à tous les postes offensifs, même s'il était principalement centre.
Bon patineur et créateur de jeu. Un joueur régulier.
Très bon contrôle du palet. Il avait la taille et la résistance pour pratiquer un hockey physique.
Progressivement devenu un bon joueur d'infériorité numérique. Retraité en 1986.
Il travailla ensuite dans l'aménagement paysager, l'immobilier et la construction dans la métropole d'Atlanta.
Sa fille Jessica Lee ("Jessie") est mariée au joueur NHL Justin Braun.
Elle termina dans le top 3 de la quatrième saison de la version américaine de l'émission culinaire de télévision MasterChef.
Tom est décédé après trois ans de combat contre la leucémie.
843 points (292+551) en 919 parties de saison régulière dans la NHL.
