Manfreda began his playing career in his native Bled where he played until he was 18.
He then went on to play for HK Jesenice for the rest of his career.
Manfreda had short stints abroad when he played for the second Bolzano team and Cergy.
He won a total of eight Slovenian league titles with HK Jesenice between 2005 and 2017.
In his only World Championship appearance in 2008 he scored in his only game vs Slovakia.

Manfreda commença sa carrière dans sa ville natale de Bled où il joua jusqu'à ses 18 ans.
Il joua ensuite au HK Jesenice pour le reste de sa carrière.
Manfreda ne connut que de courts passages à l'étranger pour l'équipe réserve de Bolzano et en division 2 française à Cergy.
Il remporta huit titres de champion de Slovénie avec le HK Jesenice entre 2005 et 2017.
Pour sa seule apparition aux Mondiaux en 2008, il marqua dans son seul match, contre la Slovaquie.
