Very quick and athletic goaltender. Intelligent reading of the game.
Undrafted in the NHL because of his small size (182 cm). His style of play is better suited for big ice.
He writes keywords like "quick feet" or "follow the puck" on his blocker during games.
Big Ten conference best goalie in 2020. Named team captain by the University of Michigan in the next season, a rare feat for a goaltender.
He was credited a goal in the AHL in October 2023 with Laval, when the opposing team sent the puck into their own net on a delayed penalty.

Gardien très athlétique et très rapide sur ses pieds. Lecture du jeu intelligente.
Jamais drafté en NHL à cause de son petit gabarit (1m82), il peut laisser pas mal de rebonds. Son style convient mieux au jeu sur grande glace.
Avec du ruban adhésif il colle des consignes sur son bouclier : par exemple "pieds rapides" ou "suis le palet" en match, et tous les exercices qu'il compte faire pendant les entraînements.
Meilleur gardien de sa conférence universitaire en 2020, nommé la saison suivante capitaine de l'Université du Michigan, un honneur rare pour un gardien.
Crédité d'un but en AHL en octobre 2023 avec le Rocket de Laval, sur une passe en retrait adverse pendant une pénalité différée.
