Hard working player and good forechecker. Big and strong and fairly aggressive.
Decent scorer and good at deflecting shots in front of the goal.
Energetic player making room for his linemates.
Wasn’t afraid to stand up for his teammates. Could often be borderline dirty in order to protect his team.
In 2007 he was convicted of making threats to a policeman outside of a nightclub. He admitted he had been drunk at the time.
Månsson shouted "I’ll fix you" as the Police tried to remove Månsson and his friends from the premises.
He was ordered to pay a fine of 27,000 SEK plus 5,000 SEK to the police.
Aside from Sweden he also played in Finland, Denmark, Norway, France and Hungary.
Retired in 2018. Went on to coach in lower Swedish divisions.

Grand travailleur, bon à l'échec-avant. Costaud et plutôt agressif.
Bon marqueur, surtout pour dévier des lancers face à la cage.
Joueur énergique qui se démenait pour ouvrir le champ à ses collègues de ligne.
Il défendait ses coéquipiers, y compris en franchissant la limite pour protéger son équipe.
En 2007 il fut reconnu coupable de menaces envers des policiers - alors qu'il était ivre - à la sortie d'une boîte de nuit.
Månsson a crié "je vais m'occuper de vous" à la police qui tentait de déloger Månsson et ses amis des lieux.
Il dut payer une amende de 27 000 couronnes, plus 5 000 couronnes pour la police.
Hormis la Suède il joua également en Finlande, au Danemark, en Norvège, en France (Dijon) et en Hongrie.
Retraité en 2018, il devint entraîneur dans les divisions inférieures suédoises.
