Big framed and steady blueliner with exceptional skating ability.
Always able to play an offensive role when required. Good shot.
As a young player he was somewhat inconsistent in his decision-making as well as defensively.
Moore scored his first NHL goal on October 25, 2011 against Ty Conklin (Detroit).

Très côté chez les juniors, il fut choisi au premier tour de la draft NHL en 2009.
Massif et stable à la ligne bleue avec d'exceptionnelles aptitudes de patinage.
Il peut jouer un rôle offensif quand c'est nécessaire, car il possède un bon lancer.
Plus jeune il était assez irrégulier dans sa prise de décision ainsi que défensivement.
Moore a marqué son premier but NHL le 25 octobre 2011 contre Ty Conklin (Detroit).
