Good allround player who could be used both on powerplays and as a penalty killer.
His reliable play in all zones made him a valuable asset to any coach. Good passer.
Elegant skater with a lot of finesse in his play. More suited for the European type of hockey.
Not speedy, but had a fast release of his shot.
Drafted after having won the Olympic gold in 1998. He came to Buffalo and had a good training camp, earning a roster spot in the NHL. But he only played the opening game of the season. He registered 2 shots on goal and was -1 in a 0-2 loss. Moravec had a clause in his contract that he would not play in the minor leagues. So when being demoted he returned back to Europe.
Twice world champion. He scored the overtime title-winning goal in 2001.
Announced his retirement on June 4, 2013. President of HC Banik Karviná.

Bon joueur complet, capable de jouer en infériorité comme en supériorité numérique.
Son jeu sûr dans toutes les zones lui permettait d'être un joueur parfait pour les entraîneurs. Bon passeur.
Patineur élégant avec beaucoup de finesse dans son jeu, capable d'éliminer des joueurs dans des petits espaces.
Pas rapide, mais il délivrait rapidement ses lancers. Plus adapté au hockey européen.
Drafté à 25 ans après avoir remporté les Jeux olympiques 1998. Il arriva à Buffalo et son camp d'entraînement convaincant lui fit gagner une place en NHL. Mais il ne joua que le premier match de la saison. En 15'15" sur la glace, il tira 2 fois au but et récolta une fiche de -1 dans une défaite 0-2 contre Détroit. Moravec avait une clause dans son contrat indiquant qu'il ne jouerait pas en ligues mineures. Il retourna donc en Europe.
Double champion du monde, auteur du but vainqueur en prolongation lors de la finale 2001.
Il annonca sa retraite le 4 juin 2013. Devenu président du HC Banik Karviná.
