Played hockey for several years in the 1920s, but it was in bobsleigh that he was most successful.
As an excellent bobsledder. Mulder captained and won an Olympic bronze in the four-man event 1924.
Two of his teammates were also hockey players, Victor Verschueren and Paul van den Broeck.
Four years later he once again captained the second Belgian bob "Princesse Astrid" to a 16th place finish at the 1928 Olympics.
He was into aviation and was a dedicated pilot.
In 1926 he co-founded Zeebrugge Aeronautical Construction Company (Zacco), a company that manufactured, repaired, maintained, purchased, sold and rented out various combustion engines related to aeronautics and aerial propulsion.
His brothers Alois (a stockbroker) and Edmond also were involved in the company.
He lived at Rue du Navet 12 in Antwerp.
He was a frequent visitor to USA in the 1940s.

Il a joué au hockey quelques années dans les années 1920, mais c'est surtout dans la discipline du bobsleigh qu'il performa.
Il excellait dans ce sport. Mulder a mené le bob à quatre à la médaille de bronze olympique en 1924.
Deux de ses coéquipiers étaient également joueurs de hockey, Victor Verschueren et Paul van den Broeck.
Quatre ans plus tard, il a mené le second bobsleigh belge "Princesse Astrid" à la 16e place des Jeux de 1928.
Investi dans l'aviation, il était un pilote dévoué.
En 1926 il a cofondé la société Zacco (Zeebrugge Aeronautical Construction Company), une entreprise de manutention, réparation, entretien, achat et vente d'outils à combustion relatifs à l'aéronautique et la propulsion aérienne. Ses frères Alois (agent de change) et Edmond étaient également investis dans la société.
Il vivait au 12 Rue du Navet à Anvers.
Voyageur régulier vers les États-Unis dans les années 1940.
