Fourth child after three daughters. Their father Frank Nazar II became an ice hockey fan because he owned a parking garage near Detroit arena and met a lot of Red Wings fans before and after games. One day he was watching a hockey game on TV and when his 6-year-old son came in he asked him if he wanted to try, which he did.
Small player (178 cm) with fast thinking and spatial awareness. Plays at a very high pace. His quick feet bring him a lot of breakaways.
Spectacular passer. Slick skater who excels at faking defenders by reading their foot angle and turning the other way.
Under 18 world champion 2022. Under 20 world champion 2024.
Left University of Michigan early and scored his first NHL goal on his first shot on April 24, 2024 (Chicago final home game).
US top scorer in 2025 World Championships, the first American goal medal in the event since 92 years.

Petit dernier après trois filles. Leur père Frank Nazar II était devenu fan de hockey parce qu'il possédait un parking près de la Joe Louis Arena de Détroit et y gardait les voitures des fans des Red Wings. Un jour où il regardait un match de hockey à la télévision, son fils de 6 ans est entré et il lui a demandé s'il voulait essayer ce sport, ce qu'il fit dès le lendemain.
Petit gabarit (178 cm) qui comprend la situation et réfléchit très vite. Il joue à un rythme très élevé. Sa vitesse lui procure énormément d'échappées.
Passeur spectaculaire. Patineur agile qui excelle à feinter les défenseurs en lisant leur angle de pied pour virer dans l'autre sens.
Vice-champion du monde des moins de 18 ans en 2022. Champion du monde des moins de 20 ans 2024.
Il a quitté l'université de Michigan après sa deuxième année et a mis son premier but en NHL sur son premier tir le 24 avril 2024 (pour le dernier match à domicile de la saison de Chicago).
Meilleur marqueur américain aux championnats du monde 2025, la première médaille d'or des États-Unis dans la compétition depuis 92 ans.
