Reliable player who always performed well on the Bulgarian National Team.
Nenov is one of few players who appeared in all four divisions of the World Championships/Olympics when it was divided into Pool A, B, C and D.
His span of 26 years between his first and last World Championship was a record in hockey, but it has been beaten by a fellow Bulgarian, goaltender Konstantin Mihailov (29 years).
Considered by many to be the greatest Bulgarian hockey player of all time.
He coached the Tarnovo club (Etro 92) for a while in the 1990s.

Nenov est l'un des rares joueurs apparus dans les quatre divisions de la hiérarchie internationale (en incluant sa participation aux JO) lorsqu'elle était divisée en Mondiaux A, B, C et D.
L'intervalle de 26 ans entre son premier et son dernier championnat du monde était un record, battu depuis par un compatriote bulgare, le gardien Konstantin Mihailov (29 ans).
Généralement considéré comme le meilleur hockeyeur bulgare de tous les temps.
Il a entraîné le club de Tarnovo (Etro 92) pendant un temps dans les années 1990.
