Older brother of Rüdiger Noack.
Debuted with national team on September 25, 1964 vs Sweden. Represented East Germany 36 times, scoring 9 points (5+4).
Honored as a former national team player before the international game vs Poland on October 4, 1968 in Berlin.
Three-time East German champion with Dynamo Weißwasser in 1965, 1969 and 1970.
Retired in 1970, before he got 28, when East German authorities decided to cease funding ice hockey.

Il a débuté en équipe nationale le 25 septembre 1964 contre la Suède. 36 sélections avec l'Allemagne de l'Est, 9 points (5+4).
Honoré comme ex-international en même temps que Bernd Poindl, Joachim Franke et Dieter Kratzsch avant le match RDA-Pologne du 4 octobre 1968 à Berlin.
Trois fois champion d'Allemagne de l'Est avec le Dynamo Weißwasser en 1965, 1969 et 1970.
Il a pris a retraite en 1970, avant d'avoir 28 ans, quand les autorités est-allemandes ont fermé les volets sur le hockey de haut niveau.
