Said to have approached practices with the ferocity of a pit bull. Described by some as the best practice player ever.
Ultra competitive player who hated to lose. Forward early on but shifted to defense in 1971/72. Good at powerplays.
King of fundamentals. He was smart, had a great shot that he always got on net, he had the spin-o-rama, and loved to pass the puck.
Had an outstanding High school and College career. Named All-league, All-city and All-state.
Made the All-Star team at the 1983 Pool B World Championships. Best forward in 1985/86 Italian league.
Played his last eight seasons in Europe (Italy, Switzerland and Austria). Retired in 1990 and went on to work as an ice hockey coach.

On disait de lui qu'il abordait l'entraînement avec la férocité d'un pitbull. Parfois décrit comme le meilleur joueur jamais vu à l'entraînement.
Joueur ultra-compétitif qui détestait perdre. Attaquant à l'origine, il passa en défense en 1971/72. Bon en avantage numérique.
Roi des fondamentaux. Il était intelligent, il avait un excellent lancer qui trouvait toujours le cadre, il savait faire les 360° et aimait passer le palet.
Carrière exceptionnelle en lycée et en université, nommé dans les meilleurs joueurs du championnat, de la ville et de l'État.
75 points (17+58) en 104 parties de saison régulière dans la NHL. Membre de l'équipe-type du Mondial B 1983Meill
Meilleur attaquant du championnat italien 1985/86. Il a passé ses huit dernières saisons en Europe (Italie, Suisse, Autriche) avant de prendre sa retraite en 1990 et de devenir entraîneur.
