Tactically skilled and a fine skater. Was the first player from Northern Sweden to earn a spot on the Swedish National Team in 1950.
Well respected authority on and off the ice. Captained Skellefteå AIK and represented Sweden 52 times.
He became a reasonably successful hockey coach after his retirement as a player in 1961.
While a player he worked for BP (British Petroleum).

Discipliné tactiquement et bon patineur, il devint le premier hockeyeur issu des régions septentrionales de Suède (du Västerbotten en l'occurrence) à intégrer la Tre Kronor quand il y fut convoqué en 1950.
Ses prestations se révélèrent suffisamment convaincantes pour lui valoir 52 sélections.
Respecté sur et en-dehors de la glace, il tint longtemps le capitanat du Skellefteå AIK.
Son parcours d'entraîneur, entamé en 1961, lui valut également des louanges.
Joueur, il occupait un poste d'employé à BP.
