Good skater with some playmaking skills. Very solid team player and used on special teams.
Born in Canada but raised in Duluth, Minnesota. Was first put on skates very early as a 1-year-old and always wanted to be a pro hockey player.
In 2014, while he was still a player, he co-founded PuckStyle, a company specializing in hockey-related jewelry and accessories.
His Austrian wife Sabrina - who also played ice hockey - is the graphic designer for the company.
