Excellent stickhandler who got famous for his outstanding backhand shot.
23 games with Swiss national team.
Three-time Swiss champion with SC Bern (1959, 1965) and La Chaux-de-Fonds (1968, always with center Peter Stammbach as a linemate.
Retired in 1968 and worked as a hockey coach with Bern, Langenthal, Thun and Zunzgen. Was a designer in civil engineering.

Il a pris sa retraite en 1968 et travaillé comme entraîneur à Berne, Langenthal, Thun et Zunzgen. Il était dessinateur dans le génie civil.
