Was a teammate of Eric Lindros in 1988/89 while he played with the St.Michael’s Buzzers.
Educated at the University of Michigan where he also captained the varsity hockey team for three years. He won the Vic Heyliger trophy twice as the outstanding defenseman.
He was primarily a defensive style rearguard with a decent slapshot.
Good passer and solid checker who often was used to kill penalties.
Played an aggressive and positionally sound game. Strong and agile skater.
Retired in 2003 and started working in College hockey. Also worked as a client services representative with the Hylant Group, an insurance company.

Il a étudié à l'University of Michigan où il a été capitaine de l'équipe de hockey pendant trois ans. Il y a remporté deux fois le trophée Vic Heyliger de meilleur défenseur.
C'était avant tout un arrière de style défensif, avec un slap correct.
Bon passeur aux mises en échec solides qui était souvent utilisé en infériorité numérique.
Il jouait un hockey agressif avec un positionnement sûr. Patineur puissant et agile.
Il a arrêté sa carrière en 2003 et a commencé à travailler dans le hockey universitaire. Il a aussi été représentant dans les services client du Hylant Group, une entreprise d'assurance.
16 points (2+14) marqués en 212 parties de saison régulière de NHL.
