Fast and skilled winger who gets involved in physical battles despite his small size (176 cm). Good shot with a quick release.
His father and his older brother - both called Peter Hrehorčák - have been pro hockey players in France.
Patrik left to Třinec at only 14 and was voted best forward in U16 Czech finals 2014 in his first year.
Scored the title-winning goal in 2016 Czech junior league. Won 2019 Memorial Cup with Rouyn-Noranda.
Debuted with Slovakia on May 1st, 2011 vs Austria after the first of his four senior titles with Třinec.

Ailier rapide et technique, impliqué physiquement malgré son petit gabarit (1m76). Bon tir au déclenchement vif.
Pour gagner plus qu'en Slovaquie, son père Peter a joué pendant dix ans en France (Nantes, Tours, Chamonix, Mont-Blanc).
Son frère aîné - aussi appelé Peter Hrehorčák - a été formé en partie en France, ce qui lui a permis d'y gagner sa croûte.
Dès sa première saison à l'étranger à 14 ans, Patrik a été élu meilleur attaquant des finales tchèques U16 2014.
Auteur du but gagnant du titre tchèque junior 2016 de Třinec. Vainqueur de la Coupe Memorial 2019 avec Rouyn-Noranda.
Débuts en équipe de Slovaquie le 1er mai 2021 contre l'Autriche, après le premier de ses quatre titres de champion avec Třinec.
