Fast and reliable forward who first played organized hockey as a 14-year old. Made his league debut in 1977 and national team debut in 1979.
Played a total of 441 league games in Poland, scoring 287 points (195+92). Played most of the 1990s in Spain, retiring in 1996.
He was a four-time Polish league champion, as well as a four-time Spanish league champion.
Represented Poland 106 times (15 goals). Admired the play of Sergei Makarov.
