High energy player who was a good skater and quick. Good at controlled zone entries.
Sometimes criticized in the national team for useless offensive zone penalties for charging.
Formed a dangerous line in Dukla Trenčín with Róbert Petrovický and Žigmund Pálffy.
Won one Czechoslovakian title with Trenčín and three Slovakian league titles (the last one with Slovan).
Solid goal scorer who scored 489 goals in 1265 career games and played until the age of 46.
Retired in 2017 and coached university team Gldiators Trenčín.

Patineur vif et rapide capable d'entrer en zone en possession du palet et de le passer. Bon tir.
Joueur très énergique, parfois critiqué en sélection pour des pénalités en zone offensive sur des charges incorrectes.
Au Dukla Trenčín, il forma une ligne redoutable avec Róbert Petrovický et Žigmund Pálffy.
Une fois champion de Tchécoslovaquie (en 1992 avec Trenčín), trois fois de Slovaquie (1994, 1997, mais aussi en 2005 avec le Slovan Bratislava).
Retraité à 46 ans en troisième division en 2017 après une très longue carrière en sénior (28 années, 489 buts en 1265 matches).
Devenu entraîneur de l'équipe universitaire des Gladiators de Trenčín.
