Intelligent player who could put the puck in the net equally well as setting them up. Drafted in the NHL by Quebec Nordiques in 1982. Spent the majority of his domestic career playing for Slovan Bratislava. During his last seven years he played in Finland and became very popular among the fans. Retired in 1997. Went on to coach in Hungary, Finland and Slovakia.
Was the team manager and coach for the Slovakian junior national team. Also was an assistant coach for the Slovakian national team.

Joueur clairvoyant, aussi redoutable pour finir les actions offensives que pour les impulser. Bien que drafté par les Nordiques en 1982, il n'ira pas en NHL, jouant plutôt au Slovan Bratislava et, entre 1990 et 1997, dans les divisions inférieures finlandaises où il sera fort apprécié.
Devenu ensuite entraîneur de club en Finlande, en Hongrie et en Slovaquie, mais aussi de sélectionneur de l'équipe nationale hongroise, des U20 slovaques et assistant de l'équipe nationale slovaque.
