Father of Marco Kasper.
Unspectacular but reliable defensive defenseman. Retired from high level hockey in 2007.
Austrian champion 1991 (with Klagenfurt), 2005 (with Vienna) and 2007 (with Salzbourg).
92 games with Austrian national team.
Graduated with MA in Jurisprudence in 2003 from the University of Innsbruck. Awarded Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2006 by University of Innsbruck. In 2011 he passed the solicitor's examination with the grade of "Excellent". Member of Law Society for Kärnten since 2012. Went on to work as an attorney at law for Juridicom in Klagenfurt.

Défenseur défensif sans étincelle mais digne de confiance. Carrière entièrement passée en Autriche, sauf un an en ECHL.
Champion d'Autriche 1991 (avec Klagenfurt), 2005 (avec Vienne) et 2007 (avec Salzbourg), il quitte le haut niveau sur cet ultime titre à 33 ans, quand son fils en a 4.
92 sélections en équipe d'Autriche.
Il a entrepris des études pendant son activité de joueur. Diplômé en 2003 de droit jurisprudentiel par l'Université d'Innsbruck, il intègre le barreau de Carinthie en 2012 après avoir obtenu son examen l'année précédente avec mention d'excellence.
Embauché par le cabinet Juridicom de Klagenfurt, où il est spécialisé en droit du travail, droit des contrats internationaux et droit de la famille.
Assistant-entraîneur auprès des juniors du KAC depuis 2018.
