Right-shooting defensive defenseman. He skates well for a player of his size (193 cm, 94 kg) and mostly avoids mistakes.
He climbed the ranks of Slavia Praha and became captain of the team - then in second level - at 22. Czech finalist with Liberec in 2021 before joining the KHL. His daughter was born in December 2021. It happened back home before international break and he left Russia later to see his family.
His two first games with Czech national team in December 2020 were nothing special (minus-two and 12 penalty minutes). As he had not been called again he was the most unexpected name in Czech olympic roster 2022. He also was the most positive surprise in a disapponting tournament for Czech Republic and finished with a team best plus minus (+4) in pair with his club teammate Lukáš Klok.

Défenseur défensif tirant de la droite. Il patine bien pour un joueur de son gabarit (193 cm, 94 kg) et évite de commettre des erreurs.
Il a achevé sa formation au Slavia Prague dont il est devenu capitaine à 22 ans (alors en deuxième division). Vice-champion tchèque avec Liberec en 2021 avant de rejoindre la KHL. Sa fille est née en décembre 2021, un peu avant terme. Il a dû attendre la trêve internationale pour rentrer voir le bébé et la maman.
Ses deux premières sélections en équipe nationale en décembre 2020 n'avaient rien de folichon (-2 et 12 minutes de pénalité). Comme il n'avait pas été rappelé dans l'intervalle, il fut l'invité-surprise de l'équipe olympique tchèque 2022. Mais il fut aussi la surprise la plus positive d'un tournoi décevant pour son pays et termina avec la meilleure fiche de son équipe (+4) aux côtés de son partenaire de club Lukáš Klok.
