Born in Slovakia and played his junior hockey both in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Good skater with superior puckhandling skills and technical finesse. Weaker defensively and physically. Drafted in the NHL by Tampa Bay Lightning 2005.
Never got to play in the NHL and spent four seasons in OHL, AHL and ECHL. Spent six seasons in the KHL.

Né en Slovaquie avant la partition, il se formera au hockey (après la partition) en Slovaquie et en République tchèque. Patineur doué dans le maniement de crosse et très technique. En difficulté physiquement et défensivement.
Il n'a pas percé en NHL malgré une draft par Tampa Bay en 2005. Il aura passé en tout quatre saisons (2004-2008) en Amérique du Nord, seulement dans les ligues mineures (OHL, AHL, ECHL). Il a surtout fait sa carrière en KHL.
Champion du monde 2010.
