He became a member of AIK in 1933 as a 12-year old and played both football (five games in the Swedish elite league) and ice hockey with the team.
He spent a few years (1939-1943) playing ice hockey for Matteuspojkarna before going back to AIK, winning two league titles with them 1946 and 1947.
He retired in 1949 but made a brief comeback with Grums IK 1951/52.
He worked as a dentist between 1949 and 1954 and then became a medical doctor (ear-nose-throat) between 1954 and 1995.

Il devint membre de l'AIK en 1933 à 12 ans pour pratiquer à la fois le football (cinq matchs en élite suédoise) et le hockey sur glace.
Il passa plusieurs saisons (1939-1943) au Matteuspojkarna avant de retourner à l'AIK, remportant le championnat en 1946 et 1947.
Il prit sa retraite en 1949 mais fit un court retour avec le Grums IK en 1951/52.
Il fut dentiste entre 1949 et 1954 puis devint médecin (ORL) de 1954 à 1995.
