Oldest of three brothers. Brother of Valentin (Vilém) Loos who also played hockey on the national team.
He was born in the Troja area of Prague. Played bandy hockey and football as a youngster.
Was one of the pioneers in the country when it came to ice hockey. Fought in WW I.
Played one game against Belgium as a rover at the 1914 European Championships.
Worked for the Czechoslovakian Ice Hockey Federation and was one of the responsible people in arranging the 1947 World Championships.
He also was a member of the IIHF between 1945-1953.

Aîné de trois frères. Frère de Valentin (Vilém) Loos qui fut également international de hockey.
Il est né à Troja, un quartier de Prague. Il joua au bandy et au football quand il était jeune.
Il fut l'un des pionniers du hockey sur glace dans son pays. Il a combattu pendant la Première Guerre mondiale.
Il joua un match contre la Belgique au poste de rover à l'occasion de l'Euro de 1914.
Il travailla pour la fédération tchécoslovaque de hockey sur glace et fit partie de l'équipe organisatrice des Mondiaux de 1947.
Il fut également membre de l'IIHF entre 1945 et 1953.
