Played in Vålerenga, but lack of playing time made him join Storhamar as a junior in 1995.
In Storhamar he became a teammate with his father Jim, but he played there only briefly.
Then went to Erding, Germany, for more than one year. In November 1997 he had to return back to Trondheim, Norway, to do his military duty while keeping on playing hockey locally.
Won a total of six Norwegian league titles (one with Storhamar and five with Vålerenga). Retired in 2007.
Returned to Hamar many years later and worked as a junior coach.

Il débuta à Vålerenga, mais un manque de temps de jeu lui fit prendre la direction de Storhamar en junior en 1995.
Il put y évoluer aux côtés de son père Jim, mais il n'y joua que brièvement.
Il partit alors à Erding (deuxième niveau allemand) pendant un peu plus d'un an, mais en novembre 1997, il dût rentrer en Norvège pour effectuer son service militaire à Trondheim tout en jouant dans le club local.
Six titres de champion de Norvège (un avec Storhamar et cinq avec Vålerenga).
Retraité en 2007. Il retourna à Hamar des années plus tard pour entraîner les juniors.
