Born and grew up in Nitra where he also learned to play hockey.
Good skater, fine passer and with good on ice vision. Sometimes made easy mistakes in his own zone.
During the 1998/99 Slovakian season he finished first in +/-, with a +92 rating in 50 games.
Represented Slovakia 65 times (10 goals).
When Slovakia became the World Champions in 2002, he was part of the third defensive pairing with Martin Štrbák.
Spent one season and a half in Sweden, a few months in Lausanne, Switzerland, and seven years in Krefeld, Germany.
Slovak champion 2001 with Zvolen and 2016 with Nitra.
Retired in 2016 but made a comeback in the Slovakian third league 2018/19.
Served as an assistant coach with HK Nitra.

Il est né et a grandi à Nitra où il a appris le hockey.
Bon patineur et passeur. Bonne vision du jeu. Il faisait parfois des erreurs bêtes dans sa zone.
Lors de la saison slovaque 1998/99 il termina avec le meilleur ratio +/-, établissant une fiche de +92 en 50 matchs.
65 sélections en équipe de Slovaquie (10 buts).
Quand la Slovaquie a remporté les Mondiaux en 2002, il était sur la troisième paire défensive avec Martin Štrbák.
Il a joué un an et demi en Suède, quelques mois à Lausanne et sept saisons en Allemagne à Krefeld.
Champion de Slovaquie 2001 avec Zvolen et 2016 avec Nitra.
Retraité en 2016 mais il fit un retour en troisième division slovaque en 2018/19.
Devenu assistant coach au HK Nitra.
