Capable of making incredible saves when down and out, never quitting on a play.
Very athletic. Never had the ideal size for a modern goaltender at the NHL-level.
Battled inconsistency for much of his career.

Gardien très calme et mesuré même sous la pression intense. Il s'épanouit dans le jeu sur sa ligne.
Capable de faire d'incroyables arrêts même dans un mauvais moment, il ne sort pas du jeu.
Très athlétique. Il n'a jamais eu le gabarit parfait pour un gardien moderne de niveau NHL.
Il a combattu l'irrégularité pendant une bonne partie de sa carrière.
