Best defenceman in the 1999 World Junior Championships, Pool C.
Youngest Japanese player during 2000 World Championships. He weighed 72kg (he was 178cm tall) but gained strength through the years (82 kg).
Scored his only two goals in elite World Championships on rebounds, but his slapshot also gained strength to become a powerplay asset.
He played in Sweden with Malmö junior team in 1998/99, then spent his whole adult career with Oji Tomakomai. Won the Japanese championship in 2002 and 2005, as well as the Asian league in 2008 and 2012.
Scored 174 points (49+125) in 574 career games with Oji. Retired in 2014.

Ses deux seuls buts aux Mondiaux élite ont été inscrits sur des rebonds en 2003, mais son slap a gagné en puissance pour devenir un atout en supériorité numérique. Vainqueur de la Ligue japonaise en 2002 et 2005, et de la Ligue Asiatique en 2008 et 2012.
174 points (49+125) marqués en 574 parties en carrière avec Oji, jusqu'à sa retraite en 2014.
