At 26 he had a breakout season. He got his first national team games and became Jesenice top scorer. He got rewarded with a contract abroad.
During his year in Poland he got a lot of individual feedback from Finnish coach Risto Dufva who wanted him to pay more attention to details.
In December 2021 he got a ten-game suspension in the Austrian league after he imitated a monkey towards defenceman Derek Joslin, who hadn't exeperienced such a racist gesture in his career.

Il a percé à 26 ans en obtenant ses premières sélections en équipe nationale et en devenant le meilleur marqueur de Jesenice.
Obtenant alors un contrat à Cracovie, il aura beaucoup appris dans son année à Cracovie de l'entraîneur finlandais Risto Dufva qui n'a cessé d'être sur son dos pour qu'il progresse dans tous les détails du jeu.
Suspendu 10 matches par la ligue autrichienne en décembre 2021 pour avoir imité un singe à l'encontre du défenseur métis Derek Joslin (34 ans), confronté pour la première fois à un tel geste raciste dans sa carrière.
