An outstanding defensive forward who excels at disrupting counter-attacks, covering up middle lanes and blocking shots. Great penalty killer.
His controlled and cerebral play can generate some offense even if he has no finesse skills.
Won 2015 Memorial Cup with the Oshawa Generals, forging his way through hard work though he went undrafted in the OHL.
Won 2020 and 2021 Stanley cups with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Missed the 2026 Olympics when he suffered a shoulder injury one week before the tournament.

Attaquant défensif qui excelle à interrompre les contre-attaques, fermer les lignes de passe et bloquer des tirs. Autant de qualités qui le rendent précieux en infériorité numérique.
Son jeu contrôlé et cérébral peut créer de l'offensive malgré son absence de finesse technique.
Vainqueur de la Coupe Memorial 2015 avec les Generals d'Oshawa, en s'imposant par son travail à l'entraînement, alors qu'aucune équipe de junior majeur ne l'avait drafté initialement.
Vainqueur de la Coupe Stanley en 2020 et en 2021 avec Tampa Bay.
Blessé à l'épaule et rayé de la liste une semaine avant les Jeux Olympiques 2026.
