Younger brother of Hans Dürst and father of Walter Dürst Jr.
Very versatile player who could play on any forward position.
Shifted to defense in the early 1950s. Great leadership qualities and captained Davos in the 1950s and 60s.
Got his nickname „Watschga“ when he toured Czechoslovakia with his team.
Retired in 1965 after a 23-year long playing career, winning ten Swiss league titles.
Created a garage with his brother and handed it over to his son.

Joueur très polyvalent qui pouvait jouer à toutes les positions en attaque.
Reconverti en défense au début des années 1950. Grand leadership et capitaine de Davos.
Il a reçu son surnom „Watschga“ lors d'une tournée en Tchécoslovaquie.
Retraité en 1965 après une carrière de 23 ans qui l'a vu gagner 10 titres de champion de Suisse.
Il a fondé un garage avec son frère, puis l'a transmis à son fils.
