Big body (6'4" / 193 cm) but not a physical player. He's actually a very good skater for his size, with speed in both directions and clean pivots.
Sound and reliable defenceman who likes to play a simple game. He can use his long stick to knock the puck off the opposing forwards. He reads the play well but is reluctant to join the rush. Powerful but not very accurate shot.
Debuted with Swiss national team on April 4, 2018 in the Czech Republic.
The Washington Capitals, who drafted him in 2017, made him play one year in the AHL when he was 19, then loaned him to his former Swiss club Zug.

Doté d'un grand gabarit (193 cm) mais pas adepte d'un jeu très physique. C'est en fait un très bon patineur pour sa taille, rapide dans les deux directions et capable de pivoter proprement.
Défenseur stable et fiable qui privilégie un jeu simple. Il peut utiliser sa mobilité et sa longue crosse pour enlever le palet aux attaquants. Il lit bien le jeu mais est réticent à se joindre aux offensives. Son lancer est puissant mais pas très précis.
Il a fait ses débuts en équipe de Suisse le 4 avril 2018 en République tchèque.
Les Capitals de Washington, qui l'ont drafté en 2017, l'ont fait jouer une saison en AHL à 19 ans, puis l'ont prêté à son ancien club suisse Zoug. Champion de Suisse 2021.
