Right-shooting allround defenceman. Disciplined player who learns like a sponge. Calm and poised. Good skater. Blocks a lot of shots.
His grandfather Rudolf Hüttl (who played for Reichersbeuern in regional league) and his father Karl (who played for Bad Tölz and Miesbach on second German division) were both ice hockey goalies. Leon had chosen jersey number 25 like them.

Défenseur droitier au jeu complet. Calme, serein et discipliné, il absorbe les conseils comme une éponge. Bon patineur. Il bloque beaucoup de tirs.
Son grand-père Rudolf Hüttl (qui a joué pour Reichersbeuern en ligue régionale) et son père Karl (qui a joué pour Bad Tölz et Miesbach au deuxième niveau allemand) étaient tous deux gardiens de hockey sur glace. Leon a choisi le numéro de maillot 25 pour faire comme eux.
