Decently sized defenseman who played a simple game and was good at clearing the crease. Got a lot of ice time in penalty killing.
Studied at Kushiro Gangnam High School. Started playing hockey on the recommendation of his teacher.
Played junior hockey in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Retired in 2003. Worked as an assistant coach in the Japanese hockey league for Seibu.
Enthusiastic golf player in his spare time.

Défenseur de bon gabarit (186 cm, 86 kg) qui pratiquait un jeu simple et savait faire le ménage devant la cage. Il était donc très utilisé en infériorité numérique.
Il a étudié au lycée Gangnam de Kushiro. Il a commencé le hockey sur recommandation de son professeur.
Il a passé une année de junior en EJHL chez les Fort Saskatchewan Traders (1992).
Il est ensuite revenu au Japon où il n'a plus quitté le Kokudo jusqu'en 2003 et la fin de sa carrière. A été entraîneur-adjoint en ligue japonaise, chez les Seibu Prince Rabbits.
Golfeur enthousiaste dans son temps libre.
