Clever player and good playmaker with soft hands.
Covered the puck very well and was very fast in his first few steps.
Had a bit of an awkward style which made it difficult to defend against.
Could look disinterested for the majority of games and then suddenly explode.
Uneven player who looked like a million bucks one day and as a worthless player the next day.
Scored 360 (182+178) career points in 329 Finnish league games. Champion in Sweden (1979) and Finland (1981).
On April 8, 1982 he had 6 assists in one playoff game, a shared NHL-record.
Represented Finland 111 times (27+32). Retired in 1987.
Inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame.

Il avait un style de jeu un peu gênant, qui le rendait difficilement maîtrisable par les défenseurs.
Il pouvait sembler peu concerné durant la majeure partie d'un match avant de briller soudainement.
Joueur très inégal, comme s'il valait des millions un jour et plus rien le lendemain.
