Began playing hockey in his native Innsbruck but moved to Salzburg at the age of 15 when he was considered as the most promising Austrian defenceman.
He won two league titles with Salzburg in 2015 and 2016, as well as a junior league title with the team in 2015.
Robust defenseman with a good shot from the point. Good hands and ability to find solutions under pressure. He has to keep his game simple and less risky to be efficient.
Last cut and reserve player during World Championships 2019.

Il a commencé le hockey à Innsbruck avant de partir à Salzbourg à 15 ans quand il était considéré comme le meilleur espoir défensif autrichien.
Champion d'Autriche avec Salzburg en 2015 et 2016, et champion d'Autriche junior 2015.
Défenseur robuste avec un bon lancer de la ligne bleue. Il a de bonnes mains et peut trouver des solutions sous pression mais se complique parfois la vie et doit garder de la simplicité dans son jeu pour être efficace.
Dernier joueur retranché avant les championnats du monde 2019, il est désigné joueur de réserve.
