Father of Ole Einar Engeland Andersen.
Big and physical defenseman with a good shot from the point. He gave it all but was a bit unaccurate in his passes and wasn't fast enough in his transitions.
Spent a year in Manitoba, Canada to attend high school and play hockey in the late 1980s.
Scored 270 points (85+185) career points in 383 Norwegian league games. Represented Norway 38 times.
Won the Norwegian league championship three times. Retired in 2002. Stayed involved with hockey and worked at the front office of Storhamar. Also worked with computer software.

Défenseur imposant, prodigue en lancers de la ligne bleue. Il s'engageait à 100% mais était imprécis dans ses passes et un peu lent dans ses transitions.
Passa un an de son adolescence dans la Manitoba, où il perfectionna ses études et son hockey.
270 points (85+185) en 383 rencontres de championnat ou playoffs en Norvège. 38 sélections internationales.
Trois fois champion de Norvège, toujours avec Storhamar, il prit sa retraite assez jeune, à 30 ans.
Resté lié à son club de coeur, il s'est occupé de ses relations publiques. Il a aussi travaillé dans les logiciels informatiques.
